Can I import a homemade database onto my computer? |
Our program does not have the capability to import a homemade database. Bangzoom's software has been
designed to take the nasty chore of adding items to a database, and turn it into a fast, fun, and
easy process. |

How do I obtain a registration number? |
When the Boyds Tracker program asks you to enter your registration number, you will see a "Click Here". As long as you are connected to the internet,
you will be taken to the registration page. Simply fill out your info and we automatically generate your ID and send it via email. If you cannot access the
registration page from the Boyds Tracker program, click here and you will
be taken to the registration page. If you do not have email access, please call Customer Service at 800-589-7333 ext. 108. |

What types of reports can I print out? |
Boyds Tracker is equipped with several "factory" reports:
Collection Details, Collection Summary, and Wish list Summary. This version also allows you to customize your own views
and reports. To create your own report or view, select View Manager from the View Collection screen. You will be taken to a wizard that walks you through the process. |
| |
The Detailed Reports print in portrait format, but all of my other reports print landscape. How can I change it? |
List reports are formatted to print landscape. This cannot be changed by the user. We format in landscape
to allow maximum fields in a created report. |
| |
Is there a way that I can sort by two fields at time when viewing my collection? |
Yes, by holding down the CTRL key. "1" appears in the first column clicked on then a "2" on the second. This means
sort first by designated column 1 and then by designated column 2. |

Do you plan to develop a Macintosh version of Boyds Tracker? |

Currently there are no plans to develop a Macintosh version. However we anticipate the
program will be compatible with most Macintosh PC emulators. We however, do not support the program when used on a PC emulator. |

How can I transfer my data from one computer to another? |
Doing this is simple. As long as both computers are registered to you, install the program on
to both machines. Use the Backup/Restore tool to move your collection from one computer to the other. |
| |
It seems like Boyds Tracker is too big for my screen. How can I make it fit? |
Boyds Tracker must be run at a minimum resolution of 800 x 600. Please make sure that the screen resolution is
set to 800 x 600. You can do this by right clicking in the center of your desktop, scrolling down to properties, selecting the
settings tab, and adjusting the sliding bar until the numbers underneath say "800 x 600". APPLY From that same screen, click
"advanced" and make sure that the font size is set to small fonts. If you have to change from Large Fonts to Small Fonts, you
will be prompted to restart your computer. It has been brought to our attention that a few users who run Windows 98 and Windows ME are not
able to fully view some buttons, even at the correct resolution. If you are one of these users, we have made an intermediate update available.
Click here if you need the update. |

Why is my program missing some values? |
All of the information that is in the Boyds Tracker Plush Edition book/software come directly from our contributors or from Boyds.
As most of you know, Boyds did not keep pristine records in the early years. Mistakes and omissions in this first edition of the Boyds Tracker will be corrected
and added for the next edition. We are committed to accuracy and to the collectors. We rely on you, the collector, to guide us in production.
If you find any items that were missed or are wrong, please let us know. |

How do I do a Backup/Restore of my collection? |
The most important step in Backup/Restore is the Media. When choosing media always use new formatted disks.
We recommend that you always back up to your hard drive first. Do this by creating a directory (folder)
on your computer (example C:\holdings) and define the path during the backup wizard. Always allow
the backup process to completely finish. Always verify your backup was successful. You can do this
by adding an item to your collection after you have performed a complete backup. Follow the restore wizard
to restore your holdings. The item that you just added will be overwritten proving a successful backup.
You should always make two copies. Any further questions email support.

I have some of the camera shy critters as well as some items that are not listed at all. What is the best way to send the information to Bangzoom for inclusion in the next edition? |
Since we are still actively working on the resin data, we are not quite ready to jump into the next edition. However, if you are interested in contributing, please contact us via email by
clicking here. .
